In this PD, Sarah Louie introduces Canva as a fun and easy-to-use graphic design tool to help students create visual projects. Focusing on elementary and middle school teachers/students, Sarah will demonstrate basic features, such as selecting templates, adding text, and inserting images. Sarah emphasizes creativity, encouraging students to experiment with colors, fonts, and images while explaining how to download and share their designs. The goal is to help students build digital literacy, improve design skills, and express themselves visually. Students enjoy Canva over Google these days; consider this session to learn how to inspire students to enjoy projects!
